Patrick Schilling

Patrick Schilling is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and propulsion. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Electra.aero since May 2023, Patrick previously held the position of Manager, Mechanical Engineering and Propulsion at RapidFlight, LLC for a brief period in early 2023. Patrick's career includes significant roles at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation from November 2016 to February 2023, where responsibilities encompassed Engineering Manager, Mechanical & Propulsion Division, Mechanical Systems Design Group Manager, and Lead Mechanical Engineer. Prior to that, Patrick worked at Eaton as Chief Engineer and Lead Engineer from April 2012 to October 2016, and at Butler America as an Airframe Design Engineer from May 2006 to April 2012. Patrick's career began as an Aeronautical Engineer with Lockheed Martin from March 2004 to May 2006. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering, obtained between 1999 and 2003.
