Erick Wipf

Erick Wipf has worked in the electrical engineering field since 1996. Erick began their career at IGT as an Engineering Intern and Engineering Technician, where they were responsible for RF immunity, RF emissions and other ESD/EMC testing for compliance, as well as prototype circuit board assembly and troubleshooting. In 2005, they moved to SummitTech as a Sales Engineer and Field Application Engineer, where they established contacts, traveled to customer sites, and built and maintained relationships with engineers and purchasing agents to generate new leads. From 2006 to 2016, they worked at Merit Electric as a Project Manager, where they estimated jobs for fixed price contract work, managed manpower, maintained schedule, and administered contracts. In 2011, they joined ElectraTherm, Inc. as an Electrical and Applications Engineer, Sales, and Customer Service, where they provided thermodynamic heat balance and engineering applications for installations of small scale Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) equipment. In 2016, they returned to Merit Electric Reno as a Project Manager.

Erick Wipf attended the University of Nevada, Reno from 1994 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Electrical Engineering.
