Doug Hucker

Doug Hucker is currently a Senior Designer at Electric Pulp. Prior to that, they were Art Director at Vitamin from March 2011 to December 2017. Doug was responsible for leading the design and development departments, managing a team of designers and developers, conceptualizing, designing, and building web interfaces, presenting to clients, and recognizing opportunities to improve workflow and development processes. Additionally, they set timelines and budgets for projects, looked for new business opportunities, created and set the visual tone for marquee projects, art directed staff, presented to clients, trained junior staff, and facilitated continuing education and professional development opportunities for team members.

Before working at Vitamin, Doug Hucker was a Graphic Designer at Zahra Design Group Inc from February 2009 to March 2011. Doug was also a Design Intern at Mission Media, LLC from January 2008 to May 2008.

Doug Hucker has a BFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art and certification from The Interaction Design Foundation in Affordances: Designing Intuitive User Interfaces and Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) in UI Design Patterns for Successful Software.

Doug Hucker reports to Michael Lehmkuhl, Founder & CTO. They are on a team with Eric Kannas - Developer, Allan Emerson - Senior Developer, and Cody Reis - Senior Developer.
