Ivan Ilic

Ivan Ilic is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in battery technology and polymer chemistry. Currently serving as a Senior Development Scientist at Electrochaea since May 2023, Ilic previously worked as a Development Engineer for Li-ion Battery Cells at Akkodis from September 2022 to April 2023. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, where Ilic contributed to the development of the first edible rechargeable battery, and another postdoctoral position at Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, focusing on hard carbons for sodium-ion batteries. Ilic’s academic qualifications include a PhD in polymer chemistry from Max Planck Society, a Master's degree in Chemistry from Freie Universität Berlin, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Zagreb.
