Tomáš Vaněk

Tomáš Vaněk is a seasoned cybersecurity engineering manager and assistant professor at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where they teach graduate courses in cryptography and secure communication protocols. They are currently leading an international team focused on designing critical security infrastructure for connected appliances at Electrolux, emphasizing secure software delivery and compliance. Tomáš has extensive experience in IoT and embedded security, PKI, and cryptography, and has previously held positions at Electrolux, SEFIRA, and DSV Air&Sea, among others. They obtained a PhD in cryptology and authentication protocols, further solidifying their expertise in the field.
