Urban Simu

Urban Simu is currently the Head of Group Patents at Electrolux, a position they have held since 2023. Simu previously worked at Sandvik Machining Solutions AB as Head of Patents from 2018 to 2023 and also served as Managing Director at Sandvik Intellectual Property AB from 2020 to 2023. They began their career as a researcher and PhD student at Uppsala University, where they earned their MSc and PhD. Simu has extensive experience in patent law, having held various roles including Patent Attorney and Patent Engineer at Sandvik Tooling AB and BRANN AB.
