On the 5th December 1968, Ezequiel Panão Jorge started a small business on the 77th of Montarroio’s Street, in Coimbra, where he provided services of commercialization, assembly, repair and maintenance of Medical and Hospital material and equipments. As such Electromédica was born, as a result of Ezequiel Panão´s deep knowledge of the Portuguese medical and hospital sector. Endowed with substantial technical capacity, an innate talent for finances and an unique sensibility to deal with people, he turned a small business in Coimbra into a national and international scale Group.
