Byron Beede

Byron Beede is an accomplished executive in the video game industry, currently serving as SVP and General Manager for the Battlefield franchise at Electronic Arts since May 2021. Prior to this role, Byron held various leadership positions at Activision Blizzard, including Executive Vice President and General Manager for the Call of Duty franchise, where oversight included strategic leadership of one of entertainment's largest franchises. Byron also led the Destiny franchise, achieving significant milestones such as the “Biggest New Gaming IP Launch in History.” With extensive experience in brand management, product strategy, and market execution, Byron has successfully driven the growth and innovation of multiple game franchises. Educational credentials include an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and executive education in Digital Marketing Analytics from MIT Sloan.
