Fengying Shi, Ph.D., is a Senior Technical Manager of Ink R&D with extensive experience in the formulation of innovative inks and coatings. Currently, they lead ink research and development at EFI, and previously worked as a Senior Scientist at Gencores, where they focused on proprietary 3D printing materials. Their past roles include Project Scientist at Triton Systems Inc, where they specialized in antimicrobial and insecticidal formulations, and Ink Chemistry Lab Manager at Electronics For Imaging Inc, overseeing the development of advanced ink technologies. Fengying holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, among other degrees.
