Sara Smith

Sara Smith is a seasoned technical writer with extensive experience in user documentation and translation. Since January 2022, Sara has been retired, previously serving as a Senior Technical Writer at Electronics For Imaging from 2001, where responsibilities included technical writing and desktop publishing for Fiery XF and Fiery proServer documentation, along with coordinating multilingual translations. Prior to this role, Sara worked as a Translator at Epson Deutschland GmbH from 1993 to 2001, leading the documentation department and translating user manuals and driver strings from English to German. Earlier experience at DATAscript GmbH from 1985 to 1993 involved technical writing and DTP for user manuals for major IT and printer companies. Sara holds a degree as a bilingual secretary (English/German) from Oxford College of Further Education, attained from 1975 to 1977.
