Joseph Sutherland

Joseph Sutherland is a regional service technician at Electrosonic. Joseph previously worked as a student at Edmonds Community College and an avionics technician in the US Navy. Joseph has a degree in electronics engineering technology.

In their role at Electrosonic, Joseph is responsible for troubleshooting, calibrating, and performing corrective and preventive maintenance on radar and radio systems, data processors, touch screen displays, electronic data communications systems, and power supplies. Joseph also leads junior technicians and trains them through instruction and observation.

Prior to their current position, Joseph served in the US Navy as an avionics technician. In this role, they were responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of all digital and analog avionics systems in aircraft, including radar and radio systems, data processors, touch screen displays, electronic data communications systems, and power supplies. Joseph also executed testing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and performing corrective and preventive maintenance on these systems. In addition, Joseph was responsible for leading junior sailors and training them through instruction and observation. Joseph also assumed supervisory duties and managed shop and divisional programs under naval aviation maintenance procedures.

Joseph Sutherland is a skilled technician with experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electronic systems. Joseph is a strong leader who is able to train and mentor junior technicians.

Joseph Sutherland attended Oral Roberts University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Technology.
