Shawn S.

Shawn S. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Shawn is currently the Head of Digital Product Design at Solar.com since July 2019. Prior to this, they held the same position at Electrum (formerly PickMySolar) from November 2014 till the present. At Electrum, Shawn was responsible for authoring, planning, designing, and encompassing a variety of interaction and digital design objectives centered around human behavior.

Before joining Electrum, Shawn served as a Co-founder & Mechanics Designer at Decobot from June 2011 to November 2014. During their time at Decobot, they were involved in designing and developing the game, managing customer and retailer relations, marketing and advertising, event coordination, production logistics, and brand enhancement. Shawn successfully raised over $30,000 in crowdfunding to develop and manufacture the product.

From August 2011 to May 2014, Shawn worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at Associated Students at California State University, Northridge. In this role, they coordinated the academic year design strategy, provided art direction to the creative team, and led the rebranding of the Associated Students logo along with its eight departments.

Additionally, Shawn worked as a Social Media / Public Relations Student Assistant at California State University, Northridge from January 2012 to December 2012.

Shawn S. completed a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from California State University, Northridge. This educational journey took place from 2010 to 2014.
