John Randolph

John Randolph is an experienced chemist currently serving as the Director of Applications Chemistry at Synoligo Biotechnologies Inc since January 2025 and as a Principal Scientist at Eurofins Genomics since February 2023. Randolph has been a Research Associate at McGill University since August 2021 and a Principal Chemist at ELEGEN since July 2020, focusing on innovative chemical synthesis paradigms for DNA. Previously, Randolph held the position of Principal Scientist II at Roche Molecular Systems from 2018 to 2020, where responsibilities included assay development and advanced analytics in nucleic acid chemistry. Randolph also served as the Director of Applications Chemistry at Glen Research from 1997 to 2018, leading the development of novel nucleotide analogs and providing extensive technical support in oligonucleotide synthesis. Randolph earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University, graduating in 1997.
