Jon Calvert

Jon Calvert has extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in embedded real-time systems. Currently serving as Control Systems Manager at Elekta since August 2020, Jon has progressed through various roles including Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to this, Jon worked at Thales as a Consultant Senior Software Engineer from July 2018 to July 2020 and contributed to medical device product development at Elekta from January 2011 to June 2018 as a Consultant Senior Software Engineer R+D. Earlier roles also include Contract Senior Software Developer at HP Enterprise Services and Contract Senior Software Engineer at Thales Training & Simulation, as well as a position as Senior Software Engineer at Applied Materials. Expertise includes cross-platform development of safety-critical software in C and C++ within distributed systems.
