Tomas Westerlund

Tomas Westerlund is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in systems engineering and project management across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Director of Systems Engineering at Elekta since May 2019, Tomas has previously held key roles at Maquet Getinge Group, where responsibilities included project management and system architecture for advanced hardware and software platforms, as well as leading the development of market-leading ventilator products. Prior experience at Saab AB involved technical product management, managing large-scale development projects, and leading departments focused on system architecture and process improvement. Tomas began a career in engineering at SaabTech and CelsiusTech Electronics, contributing to software development and algorithm design. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Linköping University and leadership training through the Saab Leadership Programme.
