Joel Douglas

Joel Douglas, P.E., is a seasoned professional in intellectual property and engineering, currently serving as Co-Founder of WizardIP, a leading AI-driven brand and IP protection platform, since March 2023. In addition to this role, Douglas is a Mentor at the Element 46 Tech Accelerator, Co-Founder of Trademark Owl, and holds the position of Board Member and Secretary at the National Association of Patent Practitioners. Douglas has extensive experience as a U.S. Patent Agent with Menlo Park Patents and previously served as a Patent Agent at Stanton IP Law Firm and a Senior Consultant at Rimkus Consulting Group. An accomplished educator, Douglas has taught various entrepreneurship and intellectual property courses at Trinity College and Florida Gulf Coast University. Douglas holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut and an MS in Computer Science from the University of New Haven.
