Tom Geddes

Tom Geddes is an experienced trading professional currently serving as a Senior Trader at ELEMENT Alpha since January 2025. Prior to this role, Tom worked as Freight Trading Manager at MONTFORT from February 2023 to December 2024. Tom's extensive background in the maritime industry includes multiple positions at Union Maritime Ltd., where responsibilities included Head of Chartering, Chartering Manager, and Operations Manager from March 2014 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes Operations Manager and Operations Coordinator at Top Fenders Ltd. and serving as a Warfare Officer in the Royal Navy from May 2011 to January 2013. Tom Geddes holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Bristol and has completed studies in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Economics at Oundle School.
