Spence Fast

Spence Fast is a Senior Applications Technical Sales Specialist at Element Biosciences, dedicated to empowering the scientific community through innovative approaches to Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and multiomics. With over a decade of experience, Spence has previously held roles as a Senior Sales Specialist and Field Application Scientist at Illumina, and as a Senior Science and Technology Advisor at 10x Genomics. Spence began their career as a DNA Research Analyst at the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory, where they led a team in molecular genetics research. Spence holds a Master of Science in Forensic and Investigative Genetics from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Mary Washington.
