Texas-based Element Fuels was founded to develop and operate scalable next generation clean fuels production. Operational in 2027, Element Fuels’ hydrogen-powered refinery will produce the cleanest fuels in the United States due to our innovative approach to hydrogen and power generation while utilizing the latest advanced technologies provided by some of the world’s leading power generation and engineering firms. Now in Phase I of construction, Element Fuels’ refinery will serve as an industry-leading example of the sustainable economy by using excess hydrogen to produce low carbon intensity fuels. The power plant will be the first large-scale hydrogen-powered plant in the world which truly sets us apart in a significant step forward for the fossil to renewable and lower carbon energy transition. Excess clean electricity (100+ MW) will be made available for the surrounding community to support local needs while contributing to the broader goal of advancing national renewable energy infrastructure.
