Devon Hudson

Devon Hudson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. They most recently worked at Element as a Senior Software Engineer since October 2021. Prior to that, Devon had a role as an Open Source Developer from July 2021 to October 2021.

Before joining Element, Devon worked at General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada for several years. They held various positions, including Product Owner in Systems Integration & DevOps Tooling from October 2019 to July 2021, Software Engineer in Combat Radio Networking from March 2018 to September 2019, Software Engineer in Tank Turret Fire Control System from April 2017 to February 2018, and Systems Engineer in Army HQ and Vehicle Communications from June 2015 to March 2017.

Devon's earlier work experience includes a Software Design Summer Student role at Price Industries in 2014 and a Manufacturing Technician role at ACS-NAI / EMTEQ Canada from June 2011 to May 2014.

Devon Hudson completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Embedded Systems from the University of Manitoba. This education took place from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their degree, Devon has obtained certifications as a Certified SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2019. Devon is also recognized as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) by The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
