Hillery Shay

Hillery Shay has a diverse work experience. Hillery is currently employed at Element as a Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked for Green City Landscapes as an Apprentice for four years. Between 2012 and 2014, they served as a Residential Counselor at Progress Foundation. Hillery also worked as a Mechanic at Homespun Bikes from 2011 to 2012. In 2010, they were a Medical Section Volunteer Coordinator at Berkeley Free Clinic. Additionally, they co-owned Missing Link Bicycle Cooperative from 2006 to 2008, where they were responsible for various aspects of the business, such as inventory management, sales, bike repair, and customer education.

Hillery Shay earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political, Legal, and Economic Analysis from Mills College, which they completed from 2008 to 2012. Later, from 2014 to 2018, they pursued a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Computer Science, still at Mills College.
