Andy Smith has extensive experience in technical and operations management within the certification and testing industry. Beginning a career at Bartec UK Ltd as an Assistant Technical Manager from 2002 to 2008, Andy further advanced as a Certification Engineer at Sira Test and Certification Ltd until 2012. Continuing at CSA Group as a Certification Manager, the role lasted until 2015, leading to a position as Operations Manager with CSA Group from November 2015 to February 2017. As Technical Operations Director at CML Ex Certification Management Limited from March 2017 to August 2020, Andy transitioned to Managing Director at Eurofins CML until December 2024. Currently, Andy serves as General Manager at Element Materials Technology, starting in December 2024.
