Michael Lewan

Michael Lewan is the Head of Material Qualification Testing at Element Materials Technology, bringing over 20 years of experience in high pressure and high temperature testing of polymers, including explosive decompression and failure analysis. Previously, they served as a Rubber Technologist at Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre, focusing on rubber compound development. Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Rubber Blends from Loughborough University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from King's College London and a PGCE in Secondary Education from Keele University. They have contributed to multiple publications in the field of elastomers and materials testing.
