Lee Smith

Lee Smith is currently the Head of Commercial at Element Science, Inc. since April 2024. Prior to this role, Smith held various positions at Philips BioTel Heart from April 2016 to May 2024, including Head of Sales, Area Vice President of Sales, and Regional Sales Director. At LipoScience from January 2014 to April 2016, Smith served as National Sales Director, focusing on increasing adoption of the NMR LipoProfile test. Smith’s tenure at Hologic included roles such as East Coast/Caribbean Regional Sales Manager and District Sales Manager, marked by promotions due to strong performance and leadership. With a background starting at Greensboro Pathology Associates as Laboratory and Sales Manager, where a Cytopathology business was successfully established, Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Old Dominion University, completed between 1992 and 1998.
