Gerard Dolan has extensive experience in materials science and engineering, currently serving as a Product Manager at Element Six since November 2004, where prior roles included Senior Product Engineer and Applications Engineer focused on developing PDC cutters for the Oil and Gas Division. Gerard also worked as a Materials Analyst, conducting characterization of various hard materials using advanced analytical techniques. Previously, Gerard was a Research Fellow at the University of Limerick, contributing to a Fifth Framework Research project with Airbus that analyzed Aluminium Aerospace alloys to achieve weight reduction in aircraft. Gerard holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from the University of Limerick.
