Martin Opperman

Martin Opperman is an experienced operations and production manager in the oil and gas industry, currently holding the position of Operations Manager at Element Six since January 2019. Prior to this, Martin worked at ArcelorMittal South Africa from February 2012 to January 2019, where roles included Production Manager for Continuous Casting and Metallurgical Engineer, with specialization in arc furnace and secondary metallurgy. Martin began the career as a candidate engineer with a similar specialization. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, earned between 2008 and 2011, along with secondary education from Hoër Volkskool Heidelberg from 2003 to 2007.
