Max Astle is a Senior Research Scientist at Element Six, where they lead projects in new technology process development and serve as the technical lead for new product introductions. They previously held a position as a Materials and Analytical Research Scientist with a Defence Contractor from 2021 to 2023. Max completed their PhD at the University of Nottingham, focusing on metal oxide/carbon nanotube-based nanoreactors and securing funding for multidisciplinary projects. Earlier, Max gained experience as a Summer Research Student at the Nottingham Nanocarbon Group and contributed as an undergraduate demonstrator and mentor during their studies at the University of Nottingham.
