Santonu Ghosh

Santonu Ghosh is a Lead Technologist and Principal Research Scientist at Element Six, with a focus on friction stir welding solutions and technology development from TRL2 to TRL9. Ghosh has extensive experience in new product development, managing strategic projects, and building partnerships across various industries such as shipbuilding, oil and gas, and automotive. Previous roles include leading projects in polycrystalline cubic boron nitride product development and conducting advanced research in materials engineering. Ghosh holds a PhD in Materials Engineering and an MSc in Metallurgy from the Indian Institute of Science, along with a BTech in Ceramic Technology. The combination of research, project management, and innovation expertise positions Ghosh as a valuable contributor to the field.
