Vermaak Wouter

Vermaak Wouter has extensive experience in engineering roles, currently serving as Principal Project Engineer at Element Six since March 2005, where responsibilities include supporting the Process Production Team and improving HPHT production equipment through innovative technical solutions, as well as enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) via Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Prior roles at Element Six include Maintenance Engineer and Production Manager, focusing on technology transfer, process implementation, equipment commissioning, and managing production requirements across two departments. Earlier experience at SAMCOR (Pty) Ltd from January 1989 to May 1991 as a Development Technician involved conducting Noise Vibration and Harshness testing on new Mazda and Ford models, assessing fuel consumption, developing engine mountings, and evaluating gearboxes through off-road testing. Vermaak Wouter is an alumnus of Technical High School Springs.
