JP Burkwald has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2007 with an internship at Arthur J. Gallagher and Co. JP then interned at UnitedHealthcare in 2008, followed by a role as a Health Services-Sales Representative at Walgreens. In 2010, JP joined Brewer Medical as a Regional Sales representative, responsible for building distributor relationships and securing contracts with hospital systems. Lastly, JP co-founded Element6Talent in 2012, a technical recruitment company focused on creating transformational partnerships between innovative organizations and growth-minded professionals.

JP Burkwald earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Entrepreneurship/Communication from the University of Minnesota, which they attended from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they briefly attended Boise State University in 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a specialization in General Studies. In 2017, they obtained a certification in EQ-i 2.0 from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS).
