Stephen Kilbourn

Stephen Kilbourn is currently a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Element 84. Stephen previously worked as a Senior Quality Engineer at Dialexa from October 2017 to May 2021. There, their roles and tasks evolved with each client’s needs. As a Quality Lead, they worked directly with Designers, Product Owners, and Technical Leads to improve the overall quality of the end product. As a Scrum Master, they ensured that they adhere to their agile processes. Stephen created Jira boards and managed backlogs. As an Automated tester, they created end-to-end automated test suites and tested APIs, and even dug into the developer’s unit and integration tests in their pull requests. For web and mobile applications, they used Java and Javascript to create suites using Cypress, Nightwatch.js, Webdriver.io, Detox, Selenium, and Appium for UI testing depending on which was appropriate for their client. As a Release Engineer, they worked closely with the development and DevOps teams to create branching and release strategies that improved our workflows. As a Manager, they mentored multiple direct reports.

Before working at Dialexa, Stephen was a Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist at Ansira from October 2015 to August 2017.
