Milind Karnik

Milind Karnik has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Milind is currently the Executive Vice President at Elementary. Prior to that, they served as an Advisory Board Member at TaraCom. From 2016 to 2021, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering at Cylance Inc. Milind also worked at QLogic as the Senior Vice President of Global Engineering and World Wide Operations, where they managed a significant portion of the company's resources and advised the CEO on M&A activities. Milind founded and served as the CEO of Argil Data Corp, where they developed innovative software-based storage architecture. Milind also held multiple leadership roles at LSI Corporation, including Senior Vice President of the Foundation R&D organization and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Engineering for the Storage Systems Business. Prior to that, they were a Vice President at Dell, responsible for the validation and quality of commercial products. Milind started their career at Intel, where they served as the General Manager & Director of Validation in the Digital Enterprise Group and worked as a Design Engineer.

Milind Karnik began their education journey in 1982 at The University of Texas at Austin, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Milind studied there until 1986. During this period, from 1984 to 1986, they also pursued further studies in Electrical & Computer Engineering and obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) degree from the same university.
