Ed Boyden serves as the Y. Eva Tan Professor in Neurotechnology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a position held since November 2006. In addition to this academic role, Ed Boyden is a scientific co-founder at GT Biosciences and has been serving as a Science Advisor at E11 Bio since October 2023. Co-founding efforts also include TI Solutions AG and Elemind Technologies, Inc., established in July 2021 and October 2018, respectively. Ed Boyden holds a BS and M.Eng. in Physics as well as Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed a PhD in Neurosciences at Stanford University.
