Hoa B. has a range of experience in software and web development. From 2018, they worked as a Software Developer at Elenium Automation. Prior to this, they worked at Mi-Token from 2015 to 2017 where they designed, developed, and maintained software components using .NET and ASP.NET. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at ICT Security as a Software Developer, with similar responsibilities. Before that, from 2012 to 2012, they worked at 3Dot Holdings and Blublocks as a Web Application Developer, building and improving modules for web applications. Their earliest experience was as an Application Developer at Ngan Hoa Co. Ltd. from 2007 to 2009, where they built an advanced search feature for a web application and developed modules using ASP.NET.

Hoa B. pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Information Technology from Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 2002 to 2007. Following this, they obtained a Master of Engineering Science (MEngSc) degree in Information Technology from UNSW in 2010-2011.
