Pathum Herath

Pathum Herath has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Pathum is currently working as a Full Stack Engineer at Elenium since October 2022. Prior to that, Pathum worked at Maybank from December 2018 as a Senior Android Developer. Pathum also worked as a Freelance Software Developer at DiagnosticK Laboratory Services from November 2017 to November 2018.

In 2017, Pathum worked as an ICT Consultant at Commercial Credit and Finance PLC, where they were involved in developing the finance module for a Taxi Hailing Android application. Pathum worked on requirement analysis, design, and technology identification, and developed a proof of concept module using React JS, Spring Boot, JPA, and PostgreSQL.

From 2013 to 2017, Pathum worked as a Staff Engineer at MIMOS Berhad, the National R&D Centre in ICT in Malaysia. Pathum played a role in developing a SaaS application using J2EE technologies such as Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Security ACL, Spring Data JPA, and RESTful Web services.

Prior to that, Pathum worked as a Tech Lead at Ignition IT Solutions from November 2010 to May 2013. Pathum also gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Lanka Bell Limited from June 2006 to November 2010 and as a Software Engineer at Creative Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd from May 2004 to May 2006.

Pathum Herath began their education in 2004 by obtaining the Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Oracle. Afterward, they attended BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT from 2004 to 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Information Technology degree with a field of study in Information Technology.
