Jans Verkade

Jans Verkade has a solid background in social care, with experience spanning over 14 years. Jans began as a begeleidster at Adullam gehandicaptenzorg from April 2009 to April 2010. Following this, Jans held various positions at Eleos from May 2010 to October 2023, starting as a Psychiatric Social Worker, contributing to the care of individuals with psychiatric disorders at Regenboogh, a protected living environment. Eventually, Jans advanced to the role of Senior Social Worker at “werkplek IJver,” part of the Sandeling residential facility, where emphasis is placed on collaboration with residents to create and sell products. Educational qualifications include a Sociaal Pedagogisch Hulpverlener (SPH) degree in Psychiatrie from Viaa (2012-2015) and a Sociaal Pedagogisch Werker (4) degree focusing on residential guidance from Hoornbeeck College (2006-2010).
