Abhijeet Prasad

Abhijeet Prasad is an experienced R&D Engineer at Elephas since January 2022, specializing in the design of instruments for the Cybrid platform. Abhijeet has been a Graduate Research Assistant and PhD candidate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since January 2016, working under Dr. Ravi Saraf. Prior roles include Lead Research Engineer at Vajra Instruments (January 2014 - January 2022), where contributions were made in the development of new diagnostic techniques within a multidisciplinary team, and Consulting Optics Engineer at Tele-Consultants, Inc. (December 2020 - January 2021), focusing on optical and signal processing architecture for NASA grants. Abhijeet's early career includes a Research Assistant position at the Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems and an Undergraduate Research Assistant role at the Georgia Tech Material Science Department. Educational background includes a B.S. in Materials Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (2009 - 2013) and a PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2016 - 2021).
