Christin Johnson

Christin Johnson is a skilled scientist currently holding the position of Scientist II at Elephas since November 2020, where responsibilities include the development of histology assays such as IHC and mIF and specimen preparation. Previously, Christin served as an Associate Scientist, developing and performing histology assays and conducting sample preparation for culture and flow cytometry. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from January 2018 to August 2020, focusing on plankton collection and identification, and as a Histology Lab Technician at Newcomer Supply from August 2015 to December 2017, where quality control slides were created using a microtome and experience was gained in manual IHC and various special stains. Christin holds a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
