Jaanus Uiga is the Deputy Secretary General for Energy and Mineral Resources at the Ministry of Climate of Estonia. They previously served as the Director of the Energy Department at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, leading an 11-person team to advance Estonia's energy sector goals for 2030 and 2050. Jaanus has also held roles such as Environmental Manager at Bolt and has been involved with various projects in energy and green economy consulting. They hold a Master's Degree in Energy Engineering and an MBA, along with ongoing participation in sustainability studies at the Estonian Business School.
