Maria Hall

Maria Hall has extensive work experience in the technology and management fields. Maria has held various leadership roles throughout their career, starting as a Developer, Second Level Support & Data Analyst at IKEA IT in 2000. At IKEA IT, they also served as a Project Manager and later as a Team Manager in the Infrastructure Team. During their tenure, Maria received high scores in coworker surveys.

In 2009, Maria became the Managing Director of Embedded Artists AB, where they successfully doubled the company's revenue in 2.5 years. Their responsibilities included strategy and business development, marketing activities, budget and goal fulfillment, customer care, and recruitment.

Maria then joined Prisjakt in 2012, initially as a Development Manager and subsequently as the CTO. As part of the management team, they headed the development, operations, and scraping teams, playing a key role in growing the company from 80 million SEK to 220 million SEK.

After their time at Prisjakt, Maria joined Let's deal as a Board Member before joining Zmarta Group in 2018 as their CTO. In this role, they led a change management journey to transform the company into an agile fintech organization. Maria was responsible for all development, hosting, design, and innovation for the company's sites in Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

Most recently, Maria is currently serving as the CTO at Joint Academy since 2021. Maria continues to contribute their expertise in driving technology and innovation in the company.

Throughout their career, Maria has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic capabilities, and a track record of success in driving growth and transformation in the companies they have been a part of.

Maria Hall attended Lund University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Informatics.
