Dr. Ravi Gupta

Dr. Ravi Gupta has extensive work experience in media and technology sectors. In 1997, they served as the Executive Director at the Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies (CSDMS). From 2003 to 2008, they were the Editor-in-Chief of i4d magazine, focusing on ICT4D. In 2005, they became the Editor-in-Chief of egov magazine, the first monthly print magazine on e-Governance in Asia. In the same year, they also took on the role of Editor-in-Chief at digital LEARNING magazine, which focuses on ICT in Education. In 2006, they became the Editor-in-Chief of ehealth, which is the first and only print magazine on the enterprise of health in Asia. In 2007, Dr. Gupta founded Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd. where they currently serve as the Founder and CEO. Additionally, they have held various roles as a member of organizations such as the PHD Chambers of Commerce, UN GAID Strategy Council, and Global Knowledge Partnership Secreteriat.

Dr. Ravi Gupta's education history includes a Master's degree in Remote Sensing/GIS from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, which they completed from 1993 to 1995. Dr. Ravi later pursued a Ph.D. in Business Economics at Delhi University, from 1999 to 2003. Before that, they also obtained a Master's degree in Geophysics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, from 1990 to 1993.
