Árni Thor

Árni Thor has held a variety of roles throughout their career. From 2001 to 2016, they worked at Össur in positions such as Director of R&D OA & Cartilage/Senior Engineer Injury Solutions, Director of R&D OA, Product Lead Engineer, Director of Biomechanical Engineering, Director of Engineering, Senior Designer/Project Manager, and Project Manager/Designer. In 2016, they became Co-Founder of both AST Design and Maria Shireen, the latter of which is a functional fashion accessories company. Árni also became Vice President of R&D at Click Medical that same year. In 2019, they became Co-Founder of Elevate Dynamics.

Árni Thor received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering from Háskóli Íslands between 1998 and 2001.
