Darby Owenby is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as the Director of Construction at Storage Structures Inc. since August 2018, Darby previously worked as a Staff Engineer at the International Code Council, focusing on evaluating construction products for compliance with building codes. Additional experience includes roles as a Forensic Engineer at PT&C|LWG Consulting, where Darby investigated construction defects, and as an Area Manager at American Buildings, overseeing sales and distribution in Georgia and North Alabama. Darby also held the position of Engineering Supervisor at American Buildings Company and served as a Project Manager at SS-20 Building Systems, managing structural steel and metal building projects. Darby holds a BS in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from North Carolina State University, along with an MBA from Troy University.
