Erik Held

Erik Held has extensive experience in technical operations and manufacturing within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, with significant roles spanning over a decade. Currently at ElevateBio since April 2020, Erik previously held managerial and engineering positions at Codiak BioSciences, Translate Bio, XTuit Pharmaceuticals, BIND Therapeutics, Acusphere, Inc., and OPK Biotech, LLC. Expertise includes leading tech-transfer activities, process development, equipment design, and validation, contributing to the successful scale-up and manufacturing of various drug products. Notable achievements encompass the management of multi-million dollar procurement projects, integration of innovative manufacturing processes, and development of critical documentation such as Manufacturing Batch Records and Standard Operating Procedures. Erik holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota.
