Ryan Hickey

Ryan Hickey has worked in the technology industry for over twenty years. Ryan began their career in 1997 as a Digital ASIC Designer at Amirix Systems. After two years, Ryan moved to BlackBerry, where they worked as a Technical Director, RF Firmware and Radio OS for 15 years. In 2014, Ryan became the Head Of Sales at eleven-x, and subsequently assumed the roles of Chief Operating Officer, Co-founder, Board Member and Secretary, and Chief Executive Officer. As Chief Executive Officer, Ryan led the company through significant growth and profitability, while also building a thriving design services business and launching Canada's first coast-to-coast wireless network.

Ryan Hickey attended Acadia University from 1991 to 1993, where they earned a Certificate in Applied Science in Engineering. Ryan then attended Dalhousie University from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
