Tom McCracken

EVP, General Counsel at Elevian

Tom McCracken has a long and extensive work experience in the field of law. Tom started their career in 1994 as an Associate at Reed & Robins LLC. In 1997, they moved to Robins & Associates, where they also worked as an Associate. In 1998, they joined PowderJect Pharmaceuticals Ltd as Vice President, Intellectual Property. In 2004, they were appointed as VP, Chief Patent Counsel at DURECT Corporation. In 2010, they moved to MAP Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and held the role of Vice President, Intellectual Property. In 2014, they joined XenoPort, Inc. as Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary & Compliance Officer. In 2017, they were promoted to EVP, General Counsel at Elevian, Inc.

Tom McCracken attended UC San Diego from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a degree in Microbiology with a field of study in molecular and cellular biology, virology, and immunology. Tom then attended Santa Clara University School of Law from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Juris Doctor in Law.
