Valentin Zambelli

Valentin Zambelli is a backend engineer at Elevio. Valentin has also worked as a senior software engineer at Dixa, where they built APIs and data processing systems in Scala. Valentin has also worked as a software engineer at Elevio by Dixa, where they worked on API development in Scala, Elixir and NodeJS for Knowledge Management. Valentin also worked on continuous improvements to Elasticsearch based search engine. Furthermore, they built event processing and reporting solutions with Snowplow and AWS Redshift. Lastly, they built S3 based hosting system used React SPAs, including asset versioning, CDN caching and TLS certificate generation. Prior to working at Amazon, Zambelli was a research scientist on the German Natural Language Understanding team that shipped a large scale ML model to millions of customers. Valentin designed and implemented experiments to optimize training data usage and improve classification performance. Valentin also implemented automation tools that accelerated model release by several days. Lastly, they created analytics tools used by international Alexa languages.

Valentin Zambelli has a Master’s Degree in Information Systems from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and has also done an exchange semester in Business Administration and Management, General from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. Valentin has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business and Economics from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Valentin is also certified from GMAT (with a score of 700), IELTS (with a score of 8.5) and Google Adwords Professional (from Google).
