Woody Sutton

Woody Sutton serves as the President and CEO of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA), leading the organization in fostering business development and delivering educational opportunities. As President of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation (ELFF), they coordinate crucial research initiatives. Sutton previously held roles as Assistant Secretary for Manufacturing and Services at the U.S. Department of Commerce and President of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute. They have a distinguished background, having served as a Rear Admiral in the United States Navy. Sutton holds a BS in Naval Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
