Jack Buggy

Jack Buggy has a diverse work experience across different industries. Jack started their career as a Graduate Engineer at T/E/S/S atelier d'ingénierie in 2010. Jack then worked as a Structural Engineer at Bakkala Consulting Engineers from October 2011 to September 2014. In this role, they were responsible for coordination, management, and design of reinforced concrete elements for various projects.

Since October 2014, Jack has been working at Elgin Energy, a leading solar and storage development platform. Jack initially served as a Project Manager, overseeing the successful delivery of utility scale solar and storage projects in the UK, Ireland, and Australia. During their tenure, Elgin Energy completed 21 projects, generating 230MW of solar energy and providing clean power to 75,000 homes.

Jack's excellence in project management led to their promotion as the Development Manager for the UK & Ireland, a role they held from February 2019 to May 2021. In this position, they played a key role in the origination, development, and delivery of solar and storage projects.

Currently, Jack is the Head of Project Delivery at Elgin Energy, a position they have held since May 2021.

Jack Buggy attended University College Dublin from 2006 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degree in Structural Engineering with Architecture. No specific field of study was provided.
