Andrea Sweet

Andrea Sweet currently serves as Associate Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Intellectual Property Transactions at Eli Lilly and Company, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Andrea held various positions at Alvogen from March 2013 to May 2024, including Chief Legal Officer, Vice President of Legal Affairs, and Director of Legal Affairs. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Intellectual Property Law at Actavis (now Allergan) from December 2009 to March 2013 and as an associate at Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP and Day Pitney LLP from 2005 to 2009. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Psychology from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
